About the Designer
Wachisa Sangma, Founder and Creative Director of Studio Wachisa, graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad in 2015.
Before establishing her own label, she worked with celebrated Indian designers such as Mishru and Aisha Rao, where she deepened her expertise in couture craftsmanship, embroidery techniques, and design development.
Known for her perfectionist approach, Wachisa personally oversees the fit, construction, and finishing of every garment. She believes that the way an outfit feels is just as important as how it looks and if it doesn’t meet her standards, it’s redone until it’s right.
Her design philosophy blends modern structure with traditional craftsmanship creating pieces that empower women to feel confident, beautiful, and at ease in their own skin.
